Once again Bray Choral Society will perform a Christmas Concert this year. The concert takes place in Christ Church, Church Road, Bray (a change to our usual venue) on Saturday the 14th of December at 8.00 pm. This year the proceeds from the concert will go to the very worthy Bray based Five Loaves homeless charity (www.whfiveloaves.com). We hope to have a full house on the night in order to maximise the benefit to Five Loaves.
The wonderful singing of the choir will this year be enhanced by a small orchestra courtesy of Alan Smale and friends (www.deganitrio.com/alan-smale). The programme for the concert will feature a wide range of Christmas carols, both familiar and not so familiar. There will also be the obligatory sample of Messiah choruses. There will, of course, be opportunities for the audience to join in the singing. As always the choir and orchestra will be conducted by our own Frank Kelly.
It promises to be a night that will get participants in the festive mood for the Christmas season.
